NATIONAL ASSOC. of HOME BUILDERS (Member)
NAHB is a trade association whose mission is to enhance the climate for housing and the building industry. Chief among NAHB’s goals is providing and expanding opportunities for all consumers to have safe, decent and affordable housing. Founded in 1942, NAHB is a federation of more than 800 state and local associations. About one-third of NAHB’s more than 200,000 members are home-builders and/or re-modelers.

 

TIMBER FRAMERS GUILD (Member)
The Timber Framers Guild was born in 1984 as a nonprofit, educational organization dedicated to the centuries-old craft of timber framing. The Guild serves as a center of timber frame information and design for the professional and the general public.

 

UNITED STATES GREEN BUILDING COUNCIL (Member)
The U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC) is a non-profit organization committed to a prosperous and sustainable future for our nation through cost-efficient and energy-saving green buildings. Developed by the USGBC, LEED provides building owners and operators a concise framework for identifying and implementing practical and measurable green building design, construction, operations and maintenance solutions.

 

FOREST STEWARDSHIP COUNCIL
FSC is an independent, non-governmental, not-for-profit organization established to promote the responsible management of the world’s forests. Established in 1993 as a response to concerns over global deforestation, FSC is widely regarded as one of the most important initiatives of the last decade to promote responsible forest management worldwide.

 

ENERGY STAR (Partner)
ENERGY STAR is a joint program of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and the U.S. Department of Energy helping us all save money and protect the environment through energy efficient products and practices.

 

WATERSENSE (Member)
Launched in 2006, WaterSense is an EPA-sponsored partnership program that seeks to protect the future of our nation’s water supply by promoting water efficiency and enhancing the market for water-efficient products, programs, and practices.

 

KAUAI DEVELOPMENT ASSOC. (Member)
The Kauai Developer’s Council is a non-profit corporation whose purpose is to promote high ethics and community responsibility in development related trades and to cooperate with legislative bodies and government agencies with the goal of seeking policies which will be beneficial to the public.

 

KAUAI CHAMBER of COMMERCE (Member)
The Kaua`i Chamber of Commerce is an organization that represents all elements of Kauai’s business and industry, both large and small. The membership includes more than 650 business and professional men and women representing over 400 Kaua`i firms who give freely of their time and talents to advance the commercial, financial, industrial, civic and social well being of the County of Kaua`i and the State of Hawai`i.
